Ascent Trip ReportMid State Trail Hike with Lakeville BSA Troop 26
Douglas MA to Oxford MA // 16-18 Miles Pre trip for Summer high adventure to the Pemi-Loop trail in NH>
Conditons: Snow on ground / Sunny temps in the 40's.
Beginning of the trail was through the Douglas State Forest. Came upon some nice boardwalks through the swampy areas. Trail came past a nice reservoir. Trail wound through some residential yards and then followed a good portion of the roadway and into a small village before entering into the woods again. Saw a nice beaver dam with ice on the small waterfall. Ended in Oxford, MA at the trailhead
