Ascent Trip Report

I took both loops on the trail, going left at the junction below 800' (labeled "more difficult") and taking the right fork (counterclockwise loop) from the 2500' fork.

As of the date of my climb, the "more difficult" (westerly) lower section was actually easier because the easterly section had more downfall that was not yet fully cleared. On the upper loop, the westerly section was clear (but muddy in spots) while the easterly portion was in spots snow covered and brushy - to the extent that I lost the trail for a little way.

A very popular hike, with crowds on this sunny day.
