Ascent Trip Report

The highest spot is only about 0.1 mi. south of the crest on US 40, but here's no convenient place to park nearby. I turned south onto a dirt road just west of the crest (with big sign for a sportsmen's and gun club) and parked about 1/4 mi. west of the high point. We've had exceptionally warm weather lately, so the thorn bushes are sprouting early. About half way up I ran into a couple of natural gas right of ways and followed those, but I missed one coming back and lengthened the short walk slightly. No view on this one.
