Ascent Trip ReportA gorgeous Bluebird day for hiking up to Tuckermans. Lots of people hiking, but very few to Boott Spur and beyond.
08:40am - Start, Pinkham Notch/Joe Dodge parking lot 09:57am - Hojo's 11:44am - Boott Spur summit 11:52am - (lunch break) Depart Boott Spur summit 12:01pm - Intersection - Davis Path & Glen Boulder Tr 12:26pm - Slide Peak summit 12:48pm - Intersection - Davis Path & Glen Boulder Tr 01:48pm - Montalbon Ridge-North Peak summit 02:08pm - Intersection with Dry River Tr 03:44pm - Mt. Isolation summit 06:53pm - Intersection with Stairs Col Tr 07:00pm - Mt. Stairs summit (sunset) (GPS route doesn't show route because Nick had the GPS and didn't make the trip out and back) 07:07pm - Back to Intersection with Davis Path/Stairs Col 07:17pm - Intersection with Rocky Branch Tr 07:35pm - Intersection with Mt. Parker Tr 08:35pm - Intersection with Mt. Crawford Tr 09:39pm - Finish, Parking Lot across from Notchland Inn.
Summary: 19.2 miles, soft snow made for post holing even w/ Snowshoes, long day.
