Ascent Trip ReportCombined trip with Dicks Peak, some good challenging for me class 2 or 3 up from the saddle. We wanted to take a different way back down rather than going back over Dicks Peak the way we had come from. We had seen from the way there that the east face looked like one to try and avoid. We chose to try a route to the northeast that started off entertaining, but about half way down quickly got more difficult than I was hoping for. I'll call it class 3, was the most difficult climbing I ever have had to deal with up as of 2008, of course I'm not pretending to be an expert climber. Anyhow we made it down in one piece to Half Moon Lake where we picked up the familiar trial. In hindsight I wish we had picked the southeast direction for our descent.
