Ascent Trip ReportThe HMC trailhead parking area is off of West Mountain Road at a gated road out alongside the common driveway to homes #144 & 152. This road / trail leads northwest alongside a stream to a red trail junction which steeply rises arcing back and around to Fred's Rest, a Granite Bench Viewpoint just below the peak. I went straight up bushwacking about 300 hundred yards when trail turned away from Mahanna Cobble (Lost & Found Camera on the very short bushwack from Fred's Rest to summit, case now has lanyard). I continued on to Yokun Seat with snow & ice in trail along its north slope, lunch rested on warm rocks and jogged back to trailhead in under an hour, then refreshed up by bushwack to The Cobble.
