Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful spring like day even though it's still officially winter. Sun, blue skies, warm temps (made snow a bit mushy - and sunset ridge a bit icy) but not too bad. Laura Cowles was steep (like Ammo) but we made good time. Gorgeous on the summit - warm and little wind (thought lots of wind in the col) - but we sat on the summit for a good 15 min relaxing. Made good time and was super-impressed with the Subara AWD to get up Mountain Rd as far as the summer trailhead despite the ice/snow. Wow!
