Ascent Trip ReportParked at snowplow turn around on at end of route 3. hike dup to old cabin at col and headed west. After choosing wrong woods road (the south steep one is correct): Hiked up with microspikes on in an inch of new snow: 10 inches of base at the top. There is a reason why there were ski slopes here.... nice views to north. The snowmobile trails were in fine shape despite the 32 deg F weather. hiked back down to hunters cabin and then up to Vly. Bushwack was pretty easy as we followed other's tracks in the snow. Had some spotty views from Vly in the leafless winter state of the trees. The porcupines are out!
