Ascent Trip Report

I kind of followed James Wedekind's TR for this one. Getting out of Vaughan can be confusing. I used Park Street and then there are 2 sets of RxR tracks to cross. I think there is only one place to cross each one, so if you find the crossing, you are in the right place.

I drove out to the pond on the right and then drove into the canyon behind it. I stopped as the road started climbing up to the mesa on the right. There is a rocky area that requires some clearance and maybe 4WD. I just followed the road or hiked through the open juniper forest towards the high point. Nice easy hike. I could see some windmills to the north from the summit area.
