Ascent Trip ReportMade it to the top about the same time the storms from the tornado were arriving that night. Passed by the actual turn off road to the marker a couple times due to the heavy rains and construction equipment near the entrance. Eventually I found it, snapped a quick photo, and quickly realized that standing at the highest point in the state with a bunch of steel towers probably wasn't the best place to be as the lightening storm approached. Within 5 minutes of leaving the wind was really whipping by and the lightening was spectacular so I watched it from one of the overlook pull out areas.
