Ascent of Betsom's Hill on 2012-03-03
|Date:||Saturday, March 3, 2012|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||249 m / 820 ft|
Ascent Trip ReportA return visit after 14 years but this time with a visit to the virtually adjacent Westerham Heights, highest point in Greater London. Parked in a gateway on the A233 and walked down to the track to the probable highpoint near the stables. True highpoint uncertain and probably man-made because this area is the site of the former Westerham (Betsom's Hill) Fort. Apart from the track this is all private land so that's as close as one can get.
