Ascent Trip Report

I took Rt. 19 S from Waynesburg, Pa. and turned right at the Mount Pleasant Church onto Gordon Hill Rd. (sorry I didn't watch the odometer but maybe 5 mi from Waynesburg to the turn). Turned on the first left (a sharp turn) unsigned and parked by the side of the road near an abandoned uphill track where my GPS told me I was 0.23 mi. from the peak. Bushwhacked uphill through what remained of the track partially overgrown with briars. At the top a microwave tower and cleared fields which permit views. The highest spot was a dirt pile, probably man made just east of the tower. I discovered a road at the tower and followed it down to a gate, unlocked but clearly marked with FAA no trespassing signs about 200 yards south of my parking spot
