Ascent Trip ReportI climbed Talcott Mountain to Heublein Tower in the middle of February. Since it was winter, the gate was closed and I had to start the hike pretty much from a couple hundred feet off the main road. I took the first trail on my left. The first half was somewhat steep, ending up on the ridge with a nice view of the Farmington Valley. The other half of the trail moved along the ridge to the tower. Took around 2 hours to ascend and then around 30 minutes back down to my car.
