Ascent Trip Report

I tried starting from what I remembered being the trailhead, but I remembered the wrong one! That said, even the wrong trailhead only added about 250' of gain. The main trail seemed better cairned than in years past. And Christmas Tree Pass road was now suitable for passenger cars for the entire distance (all the way back to the road to Laughlin). We took the road that way after the hike to see the petroglyphs at Grapevine Canyon, definitely worth the effort for those who enjoy petroglyphs.
