Ascent Trip ReportFrom the center of Hopewell on CR-518, go south on Princeton Road (unsigned at the junction) at the Lotus Dealer. Go 1.8 miles and turn left (E) onto Cherry Valley Road. Go 0.9 miles and turn right (S) onto Province Line Road. Pass Stout Road after 0.2 miles and continue south another 0.1 miles to a dirt road on the right just before a driveway. The correct dirt road has utility lines overhead. This dirt road passes between heavily posted private property and an antenna on the left and the backyards of mcmansions on Stout Road. Walk or drive 0.3 miles to a crest and note highest ground in the brushy woods between houses #7 and # Stout Road. The side yard of #7 is bermed higher, but is most likely not natural ground. Drive around to Stout Road to view the high ground from the other side.
The continuation of Stout Road from Province Hill Road, and the aforementioned dirt road are best visualized on the aerial photo.
