Ascent Trip Report

Off US40 just a flicker south of the PA-MD state line we took Hemlock Loop and then North on Pullin Hollow Rd. It dead ends somewhat sooner than the map suggests at a small farm about 0.4 mi se of the peak. The aged owner seemed quite bemused by my desire to climb the mountain, and welcomed me to park next to his house and head across his property.

A short stroll through his field gets you to the woods line and a brief but somewhat steep bushwhack. There are remnants of a trail but the vegetation wasn't thick so it hardly mattered.

I'm working on the PA. highest 50; this was #13.
