Ascent Trip ReportDrove a few miles up Margarita Road after end of pavement on Tenaja Rd. Parked on side of road in wide turn, hiked remaining 3 miles each way to Margarita peak. Use trail to peak is located in somewhat open area of red soil on the southern side of Margarita Peak and is marked with visible duck and trail tape. Use trail is crowded by flora but open to summit. Fantastic 360 views, coastal from San Diego to San Pedro and inland of Santiago, Baldy, San Gorgonio, San Jacinto and Palomar ranges.
