Ascent Trip Report

An easy open woods bushwack ..... less than 300 yards, 15 minutes RT.

From I410, exit 37 (Sulpher Springs Road which will become FM 3432), east side of San Antonio, we motored east on Sulpher Springs Road 12.3 miles to a right on CR 324 (just after entering the Wilson County Line), 1.37 miles to a left on Wood Valley Drive where we drove 100 yards to the crest of the road at house #109 on the left, the HP is to the right at about 75 yards. This whole property is fenced-in with a "For Sale" sign.

To get to the HP I went back to the corner and entered the property at a wide opening in the fence with no gate. I walked diagonally (southeast) in very open woods to the high ground area at a North-South Fence Line with a large wooden post numbered 135. I chose my spot 8 yards east side of the fence post #135, GPS 29.29079, -98.21060.

From here we moved on to Atascosa Co HP.
