Ascent Trip ReportFrom the town of Lake Elsinore take highway 74 southwest toward San Juan Capistrano. The road makes several large switchbacks as it climbs to the crest of the mountains. At the top turn left (south) on paved forest road 6S07 toward Wildomar OHV park. Continue southeast on this road for about six miles past private estates to where you will see three large radio towers on the crest of a hill on your left. Leave the pavement on a gravel road and drive over to the buildings and park. It is a very short 100 ft. or so walk up to the highest point behind the fenced-in buildings on a 4WD road. The primary benchmark appears to have been destroyed, however secondary benchmarks #2 and #3 were found. 4/97 RLC
