Ascent Trip Report

Bushwack. Kinda steep, but not too long. Pretty dense forest - learned not to stand to close to the person hiking in front of me because of getting whipped with branches - good lesson! There was not really a view on top, but we had something to celebrate so it didn't matter. Went with Alan, Amanda, Phil H & his daughter Heather and her friend Rob, Irena, new friend Laura, List,Terry, etc... It was Phil Huntsberger's 35th winter peak so we had a celebration on top and took lots of pictures (we are always right up in there! lol). It was the warmest day I ever hiked in the winter (mostly everyone else agreed) It was about 45degrees - we were very spoiled. Unfortunately on the way down Alan had a bad stomach ache (it was URGENT) that he got down. Amanda rushed down with him and I stuck back and climbed Balsam (I needed it in the winter). Overall good day besided Alan getting sick.
