Ascent Trip ReportAlthough KE Adventures lists this as a climb of Volcan Pacaya, the summit was closed due to volcanic activity. We hiked to a viewpoint below the final cone.
Some folks clearly go further, based on the tracks in the scree, but our guided trip did not violate safety regulations by doing so.
