Ascent Trip ReportWith DPS group. Heavy rains day before bogged cars in mud, including my own SUV. Unable to reach trailhead for planned New York Mountain, group headed instead for Clark Mtn with a late start.
We reached base of Class IV cliffs, but snow & freezing precip on rock, plus sense of worsening weather lead to decision to abort the climb.
