Ascent Trip ReportTook the $13 ferry over to Guemes. Followed road directions from Ken J and Craig to get to a gate that was 2.7 miles from ferry. Gated road to comm towers with no negative signage (private driveway gate on left). Yay for no signs. Walked the road for a bit and then it forked at the Rainbarn where the road went to the comm towers and we went left. The road turned into a well trodden foot trail as surely the locals must use this for views and exercise. And in fact we found an open pleasant summit and two others parties there. Never would have guessed we'd see others on this one. Geocache and true summit over in some trees. We were able to do the roundtrip with the drive in roughly an hour and we made our targeted ferry return about 1:15 later. Was quite pleased that this turned out to have no negative signs, no bushwhacking and some views.
