Ascent of Custer County High Point on 2011-12-30| Date: | Friday, December 30, 2011 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Custer County High Point | | Location: | USA-Oklahoma | | Elevation: | 2040 ft / 621 m |
Ascent Trip ReportFrom the Washita CHP we headed 4.5 mi.north to the intersection of two county roads. One of the two listed high points is about 300 feet s. of the intersection, the other just up the road. My highest GPs altimeter reading (not very reliable admittedly) was in the grove of trees just se of the intersection.
Total time for both Washita and Custer no more than half an hour, true interstate chp's.
