Ascent Trip ReportFrustratingly, I took the orange trail southwest, thinking there would be a trail up near Rt. 80. It is called the switchback trail for good reason, as after a mile or so, it doubles back. So I just added about 2 1/2 miles to my trip, but it was a nice quiet day to hike. Hit the Cardiac/Ditch trail which takes you across the top. I bushwhacked down from the top to intersect the Cardiac trail and headed out. Next time, I will bring a trail map.
