Ascent Trip Report

Took my step-dad and Ilse on an out-n-back to Kearsarge. Paid the fee to enter the park and drove the road up to the trailhead, which was one mile long (2mi round trip). Perfect for both parties. On the way up almost got hit by some crazy old man driving WAY too fast down the single lane windy mountain road. We figured he really had to use the facilities at the bottom of the hill (he had that look in his eyes). Neat active fire tower at summit, nice views.
