Ascent Trip Report

I slept in my car after driving up the night before in a snow storm and I couldn't find the hotel before the cutoff time. Scott met me the morning of in Stinkin' Woods PL and we hit the trail around 7am. LW was well trodden from cross country skiers, there was a few inches of fresh snow on the Bondcliff trail. Saw a pack of hikers on Bondcliff, had Bond and West Bond to ourselves. Beautiful weather, clear skies and the wind picked up only when we were coming back down off Bondcliff. Full moon that night, we had an awesome glow on the way out on the Wilderness trail and Lincoln Woods tr. Very loud and clear owl calls on the Wilderness tr. Never used headlamps.
