Ascent Trip Report

Soda Lake benchmark remains and register intact with great views of Old Dad Mountain, Little Cowhole Mountain, and others. Steep loose and very tough all-day hike with sustained class three exposure getting to and traversing the ridgeline. We did it from the blocked dirt road to the northeast, ascended the large canyon to the notch and then power-contoured to the left, up to the ridgeline, along several knife-edge sections to the easy summit area.
