counter-clockwise loop from Falling Waters Trail; over Haystack, Lincoln, and Lafayette. Started at 7am. Cascades were beautiful! We took our time to the summit of Haystack, arriving at 11:14. Had lunch, bundled up, and hiked the ridge over to Lincoln and then Lafayette. Descending from Lafayette was brutal; as soon as we did the up and over a strong wind (70mph sustained) kicked up. It took us well over an hour to reach treeline. The trip down Old Bridle Path was muddy and slippery.
