Ascent Trip ReportMt. Liamuiga was the name of this volcano from the maps and what was told to me by the guide. I've never heard of it being called Mt. Misery. When booking a guide for this mountain, make sure that you use the old jeep trail approach from the east. Unless you are specific about reaching the summit itself, the guides will take you on the tourist route which is a much better path but takes you to a lower part of the rim. Even then, I had to search through a few guides who even knew of a trail existing. Be specific when asking, because they would probably just wave you off and say yes we're going to the top, but they still just mean the rim.
