Ascent Trip ReportThe trip report by Richard Oestreicher is a good one. I took my GPS and it showed 1.82 miles round trip from the gate. I went in the weekend before deer season, so the only guns I heard were from the range to the south. However, I highly suggest wearing bright orange anytime near hunting season in these parts!
There was no cairn that I could see. Yow will have to follow the grass 'road' shown on the map, but you can cut off directly to the west right around a bird house on the left side of the trail. Head west to the crest and walk the ridge crest until you hit the high point.
