Ascent Trip Report

This was a pretty easy hike, with a bit of challenge caused by a dusting of snow that made some slopes a little more slippery (fortunately it wasn't ice). The route was mostly class 1-2 with a few places where a class 3 move was needed. The road was in good condition and a standard passenger car could probably have made it close if not all the way to the pass.

Between the snow, and somewhat threatening weather, we turned around at the summit. If conditions were better, a traverse over to Sanderson Mountain to the north would have been nice.
