Ascent Trip ReportBeen meaning to climb Wheeler Peak for a while and finally had a chance to do it. Went up Bull of the Woods trail before dawn and made it to the peak in about 4 hours. Met a lot of Bighorn Sheep along the way. One actually started running down a ridge right at me before veering to the right about 150 feet away. That got my adrenaline going pretty good. Got up to the top and was surrounded by Marmots trying to get into my pack. Took the trail down to the lake and the road back down to my car. Really amazing hike.
