Ascent Trip Report

The ascent up South Schell was fairly steep once leaving the road. The correct drainage is hard to spot from the road because while there is a clear creek, it does not look like it leads anywhere due to a steep dry fall. There was a faint use or animal trail up the north side of the wash but not until above the dry fall.

This was planned as a traverse from South Schell Peak to North Schell Peak, but I was not up for the task and returned after South Schell Peak. Fortunately my hiking partner, Lori, was able to complete it.
