Ascent Trip ReportFrom the junction of NY-59 and US-9W, go north on 9W 2.6 miles to a traffic light junction at the entrance to Rockland Lake State Park. Turn right, bear right at forks, and turn right after 0.3 miles onto Executive Rd. Take it another 0.3 miles to parking at a cul-de-sac. Look for a yellow-blazed trail heading uphill from the far side of the cul-de-sac and follow it to a saddle on the ridge. From there take the green trail to the right(SW), gradually ascending to the broad summit with spectacular views of the Hudson and surroundings. The trail continues SW, descending to a somewhat obscure trailhead at US-9W, with limited parking. On the return, we continued along the ridge to the next bump north, gaining some different views.
