Ascent Trip ReportPicked up a wilderness parking permit several years ago from ranger station that's not too far off the main road from I-5. I believe the turnoff to the station is at the stop sign but can't remember. Drove to the large parking lot with chalet building. Walked up wide service road and stayed 'high' at any trail junction of which there really was only the one at the start. Obvious antenna tower peak is the highpoint. Several benchmarks are around the area. Walked north, northwest, and southwest around the area to capture any potential alternative Kern HP. When I got to the eventual point of boredem and stupidity, move on to Sawmill. One way distance 1.5 miles.
