Ascent Trip Report

Started at Cloudburst Summit,bagged Winston Pk in 20 minutes, on to Winston Ridge, that took another 45 minutes, I then took the PCT towards Burkhalter trail, where the PCT heads south I went west along a ridge almost all the way to Cooper Creek, up the Burkhalter trail and then climbed up the steep northwest ridge of Bobcat Knob and on to Goodykoontz. On the return I went down the southwest ridge of Bobcat Knob, some fun skiing on steep scree slopes, PCT al the way back to Cloudburst. Great day of hiking!
