Ascent Trip ReportPlanned on a hike up Mt Snow from the ski area, but we were told they pulled up the hiking trail signs and had closed the Mountain to prepare for ski season. I was a little disappointed/frustrated as this was the 4th attempt at trying to hike this mountain over the past few years. On the way home we decided to stop and do a hike up Harmon Hill from Rt 9. We headed south along the Appalachian Trail/Long Trail up an incredibly steep staircase for the fist 1/4-1/2 mile or so, then the hike leveled out. Eventually we cam out to a fairly level/open area with a sign. There was a nice view to the west of Bennington. We then hiked back to the TH in about 1/2 the time it took us to go up.
