Ascent Trip ReportWalker Point is accessed fromm hwy 126 at virtual mile post 31.8. Turn north up Walker Creek Road, zero your odometer and go left. Go left at 0.3, at 1.2 go stright up a steep good road, at 3.8 miles go straight, at 3.9 take the right fork onto road 18-8-1 and at 4.1 reach a locked gate. Park and notice 2 lesser roads to the right of the gate. Hike up the one closest to the gate to the summit. A large new microwave tower being built on the summit. Some views.
