Ascent Trip ReportI drove up to Cannibal Mountain from Hwy 34. FR 58 also known as E Boudnary Rd is signed and goes south from the highway about 12 miles from Walport. Zero your odometer when you turn off of Hwy 34, cross the bridge and make a right turn. At 1.5 miles turn left, at 5.1 miles stay left, at 6.9 miles the pavement ends, at 7.2 miles turn left onto FR 3210. At 7.4 miles turn left onto FR 411, the gate was open, so I kept driving, the road is a little overgrown, at 7.7 I turned left, and at 7.9 I reached the summit where there is a small antenna and a weather station. Not much in the way of views. There is a benchmark.
