Ascent Trip ReportAfter achieving the summit of Pack Monadnock I descended to the north and continued on the Wapack trail. I passed one duo roughly 1/3 of the way to North Pack, and then I was alone the entire remaining journey, both up and back. Cool dry weather still, and a bit less windy. I returned the way I came.
Note: This is the middle portion of a two-peak hike (see other entry for this date). The sunset was spectacular from the top of the fire tower at 6 pm.
