Ascent Trip Report

Had to work on Columbus Day which was absolutely gorgeous but luckily Tuesday was just as nice and I had that off. Planned on doing Gothics, Armstrong, and Upper Wolf Jaw but things never go quite as planned. I took the Orebed trail up and somewhere along the way I dropped a piece of gear and didn't realize it until I was almost to the summit of Gothics. Once there the views were incredible. I had lugged up my better camera and tripod and stayed on the summit snapping pictures for at least an hour. At that point I had decided it better to head back the way I came to save some time and recover my lost gear which I can happily say I did. A little over 14 miles up and back.
