Ascent Trip ReportAlmost the only party on the mountain. Ran into one guy about a mile and a half below the summit of Charleston. The snow on the trail was well packed down from the weekend. The North Loop Trail descending from the summit looked very treacherous - icy, steep, and no footprints. It's fine if you have crampons and an ice axe. We had neither, so we headed back down the South Loop Trail and bagged Griffith on the way down. A perfect day in the mountains!
