Ascent Trip ReportWhat a perfect way to spend a snowy October day! We left our snowshoes in the car and when we hit the deep snow we were too far into the climb to go back and get them - I like to think we went for the exercise and so punching through snow for the final 2K feet gave us that much more of what we went for - in reality, I was pretty exhausted with wet cold feet when we finally made it to the top. I think David hit the nail on the head though. The conversation (as we neared the end of the deeper snow on our descent) went something like this:
David: Isn't this a lot of fun?
Tony (big smile): Yeah! I'm exhausted and cold.
David (laughing): True, but in some demented way, we both really enjoy this stuff.
