Ascent Trip ReportWe flew in from Stockholm and spent two days to gather stuff and to acclimatize. Eva and I use the cabin to 3400 m and hiked to about 4200 where camp was set. Emelie, Anders and Rasmus hiked from the hotel and arrived to our camp one day later. My first day was not good with head ace. A few bad weather days where we did more hikes, up to 4600 m. Finally a nice night and we left camp by 2 am. Emelie didn't feel well and Anders waited for her. Eva, Rasmus and I continued up. Cold feet before we reached the sun light and came out from the shadow. Nice hike up to the summit. A lot of pictures and a good view of the Caucasus ridge south of Elbrus. Started to descend and met E and A just off the summit. We waited for them at the saddle and had company to the camp. E & A continued to the hotel to try to get home earlier. Eva, I and Rasmus camped another night and descended the next day. Pizza and Beer with Emelie and Anders before they left for Sweden. We had a day off and went for a grill lunch in Cheget.
