Ascent Trip ReportAfter hiking steeply up the slopes of Cannon Mountain on the Kinsman Ridge Trail, which paralleled the tramway, the trail passed a closed-off section of trail and the grade lessened. It went in a loop at an easy grade. Eventually, my dad and I passed over the east peak of Cannon Mountain.
I didn't even realize that the trail we took passed over the east peak until 10/1/2011, 3 months after the hike!
