Ascent Trip ReportDue to a very muddy spot at the beginning of the south summit road, my wife, Geri, and I decided to park our car and hike the short .16 mile road. There was an operating oil rig on the summit and it sure made a lot of noise! There is no summit vista due to the forest and I was unable to locate the summit benchmark despite my effort of bushwhacking in tall raspberry bushes in an area that looked like it contained the highest point.
