Ascent Trip ReportTypical days in late fall, cold, sunny and white ... I started the trail on the Jersusalem Trail in the muds, leafs and rock. Quietly, a couple of snow patch appears... Wher I arrived on the Long Trail, full snow with an accumulation of 5 inches. Wonderfull, it's the me first snow of the years. We planned to cross the ridge until Lincoln Gap but the snow keep slowly the speed on the trail and the darness comming faster at this time of the year. We climb Cutts Peaks and we take the decision to come back. I dislike this type ofdecision but is a group descision.
