Ascent of James Peak on 2011-09-24
|Others in Party:||Annette Kinsman|
|Date:||Saturday, September 24, 2011|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||9421 ft / 2871 m|
Ascent Trip ReportGiven the obscurity and remoteness of this peak, I was quite surprised to find a use trail and a register at the summit. Nice!
That said, the upper sections of the trail are steep and with loose dirt and rocks, so it is not quite as easy as the distance and gain might otherwise suggest.
