Ascent Trip ReportA little dayhike with my friend who lives in John Day. Saw a good sized buck sitting on the west summit of Baldy Mountain. Followed Pine Creek Trail from the north side of Baldy Mountain to Table Camp BM7141 and then proceeded directly south over two small subsummits and then a direct climb up Pine Creek East's Southeast Ridge. A quick and easy route to do this as a quick dayhike. Probably more efficient to combine this with Berry Norton and/or Indian Creek Butte on a through hike.
